Designing for the Future: Our New Visual Identity
As the company grew and expanded its reach, we recognized the need for a brand identity that reflected our growth, modern values, and commitment to quality, while also honoring our past.
Our new logo is a testament to our commitment to progress. It’s a clean, modern design that portrays the durability, customizability, and mobility of our products, while also paying homage to the former logo.
In designing a new logo, we wanted to make sure it conveyed important elements of the company. In addition to being the first initial of the company name, the “M” logo reflects the unique manufacturing and modularity of our products. It represents the durable frames of our products. It also depicts two faucets, indicating multiple basins, which is reflective of the range of our portable sink product lines.
The “dot” under the left side of the “M” was inspired by multiple aspects of the prior logo, including the compass/star in the center of the “O” in the original logo. It also symbolizes different characteristics of our products, including: a water droplet coming from one of our faucets, a caster wheel–which makes our products easy to transport anywhere, and a rivet–which is part of our core product design and aesthetic, and a feature in the letters of the prior logo.
The lettering is clean and uniform, and as a nod of appreciation and respect for our past, the “A” in our new logo lends its shape from the font style of the original logo.
